Today is Jodie's birthday. If you don't know who Jodie is, you've been living under a rock! Jodie is the owner and artist behind Bugaboo Stamps. Why don't you take a moment to hop over to the Bugaboo blog HERE and wish Jodie a Happy Birthday? I'm sure she'd love to hear from you.
Here is an all time favorite birthday card I made with one of Jodie's FABULOUS images:
Jodie-Hopefully you hopped here from Joy's blog and you've been enjoying your birthday wishes. I just want to add to what I'm sure everyone else has said and that is that you are an AMAZING artist and person. Your generosity and kindness are felt by everyone on the DT as well as all of your fans and followers. I really do hope you have an AWESOME day because you deserve it! Now Jodie, hop over to Melissa's blog for more birthday wishes. :) And for the rest of you reading this, head over to the Bugaboo blog and wish Jodie a VERY happy birthday. Thank you!

Black Friday Challenge

Black Friday. The busiest shopping day of the year. Do you participate? Did you find a lot of great deals? I hope so. If you found a couple of extra special crafting items in all your shopping yesterday, I hope you'll put them to use in the new Catch the Bug Challenge this week. Since the challenge is Black Friday, you can make something featuring the color black and/or a shopping theme. I used this Stella image:
Hop over to the Catch the Bug Blog for all the details and to upload your super fab card creation. I can't wait to see what you make.

Freebie Friday!

I think this is everyone's favorite Friday of the year. Most people are off of work (I'm not, but that's okay!) it's the start of the Christmas shopping season (I started two weeks ago!) and it is THE BEST Freebie Friday EVAH at Bugaboo. Have I said that before? I may have but just when I think Jodie can't possibly have any more cuteness or awesomeness in store for us, I am surprised. Check out this adorable FREEBIE Snowman:
Nope, it's not a card, it's a bag. Here's a side view:
And just in case you can't see him clearly, here's a closeup of the super cute snowman:
Now, head over to the Bugaboo Store and get this guy...he is your freebie for the week. BUT you'll want to pick up the rest of the set because they are all ADORABLE and it's still 50% off of everything for a couple more days so don't wait too long!

New Release Day at Bugaboo

I know it's Thanksgiving week, but Christmas IS just around the corner so if you haven't already, maybe it's time to get started on your Christmas cards. Just in time for you, Jodie is releasing these adorable Christmas Cupcakes at the Bugaboo Store:
I used this one to make a gift card holder. I printed the image at about 2" and colored it with Copics. Then I made a pocket with my Cricut and glued it to the cardstock that was cut at 4.25x5.5 and matted with coordinating paper. I made a little tag for the inside and tied ribbon through the hole. The gift card will be added to the pull out tag with removable glue dots.
Go check out the rest of the set and get them while everything is still half off in November!

ABC Monday...

I'm not much for ABCs. You know, the "anything but a card"? I tend to get stuck in a cardmaking rut and rarely branch out to other paper creations. It is, however, my turn over at Catch the Bug to do an ABC. Well, I dusted off the old Cricut, plugged in the "Tags Bags Boxes and More" cart and made these fun holiday tags with one of my favorite Bugaboo images:
I used my favorite Bo Bunny dotted papers and colored the image with Copics and stamped the "to/from" with an old SU! stamp. If you have the TBB&M cart and want to make this tag, it's the beveled tag and I cut it at 4".
OH! By the way, these would be perfect for this week's Catch the Bug Challenge...making a Christmas craft. So, why not make some and join in the challenge? You can win 7, 4 or 2 Bugaboo images of your choice. What are you waiting for??

That time of the week when the Bugaboo DT shows you some old, possibly forgotten but FABULOUS Bugaboo images. Since we're so close to Thanksgiving, I wanted to remind you about the Thanksgiving Bobbleheads, including this adorable bobblehead turkey:

Challenge Time Again

Wow! Everyone seemed to love last week's challenge of Anything Goes at Bugaboo last week. The response was amazing and we had a record number of entries. I hope you will all like this week's theme equally as well. Did you know that today is World Kindness Day? To celebrate, we're using that as the theme for our challenge this week. You can make a thank you card, a friendship card, anything that says Kindness to you. And it's also a sketch challenge with a sketch designed by the one and only Scrappy! Check out all the details and enter your fabulous creation over at the Catch the Bug Blog. I chose one of Jodie's Sewing Bears and made a Thank You card:
I really hope you'll join in our challenge. I can't wait to see your creations!

Meet Eggbert

Eggbert is the newest character at Bugaboo and to welcome him to the Bugaboo family, Jodie is giving him away free today! How awesome is that? If you like Eggbert (and he's adorable, so why wouldn't you?) check out the rest of the images in the new Eggbert set. You'll want them all, I know I do!

Caught a Bug?

Okay, I'm easily entertained. I think a get well card with a bug in a jar that says "Caught a Bug" is pretty amusing. I know, I said it...I'm easily entertained. :) This "Caught a Bug" card features Jesse Bear from Bugaboo Stamps.

Do You Know Scarlette?

Have you paid much attention to the Scarlette collection at Bugaboo? She's lovely, isn't she?
This image is called "Cafe" and isn't really part of an official Christmas collection but I think it works for a holiday theme pretty well. Since it's Thursday, you can head over to the Catch the Bug Blog and see some other long forgotten images that the rest of the DT has pulled out and dusted off to show you today. Of course your wishlist will get longer, but since it's 50% off all month long, you can afford to knock a couple of items off your list!
I'm entering this in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is "Anything Goes" this week.

More Winter Kids

In case you can't tell, I really really like the new A Kids' View Winter images from Bugaboo Stamps. They are all just too cute. You can still get one for free and once you take a look at the other ones, you'll want them all. Good thing all stamps are half price this month!

Well, It's Wednesday

For those of you wondering, Amazon was true to their word and the COD Black Ops game was delivered yesterday as promised. My son was very happy...I'm not sure he would have been "okay" if it hadn't arrived yesterday. :) Okay, he would have been but let's just say he was very happy that it did arrive and was waiting for him when he got home from school. Some kids went to the midnight release and he told me that he knew of three kids who stayed home from school to play. Really? What parents call their kid in sick to school so they can stay home and play a video game? I don't get that, but that's just me. Anyway, moving on to card related things:
Have you noticed the November digi club release? It's over there on my left sidebar. You can get all of those images for $10 this month. That's a great deal and since they look pretty small over there on the sidebar, I decided to blow one up for you so you can see just how adorable these guys are. Presenting....Santa in his sleigh (that's not the official name, I just made that up!)
Isn't he cute? Of course he is, he's a Bugaboo!

It's New Release Day

Once again, Tuesday rolls around which means that it's time for more New Releases from Bugaboo stamps. Woo hoo! If you have children, or you're a fan of a certain wizard with the initials H.P. you know that a new movie is coming out in a matter of days and you probably can't wait. I know I can't. While we're waiting, why don't you go over and check out the new releases at Bugaboo which are part of the "Wizards" collection like this one:
Head over to Bugaboo now and see the rest of this collection. You will NOT be disappointed.
I'm entering this is the Lexi's Creation challenge which is Anything Goes.

Hello Again!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted anything for several days. We had a busy weekend with my daughter's Confirmation on Saturday and taking my youngest son around to various high schools on Sunday so he could start thinking about where he wants to go. So, I didn't get my usual block of crafting time when I make lots of projects to show you in the coming week. This card was actually made last night after work:
This is a 4.25x4.25 square card made with a Bugaboo Thanksgiving Bobblehead image.

Welcome to another Catch the Bug Challenge. I hope you are enjoying our new weekly format. This week, it's a super easy challenge:
That's right, make something...anything...and enter it into the challenge for your chance to win 7, 4 or 2 images. You don't have to use a Bugaboo image, but since there is a freebie released every Friday, why wouldn't you? I used an image from the Garden Cats collection called Droplets:
Go check out the details at the Catch the Bug Blog NOW! I can't wait to see what you create.

A Kids' View of Winter

Oh my gosh, you are going to LOVE the images that Jodie is releasing today! If you're like me and love the A Kids' View line of images, you are going to be very excited to see these new additions called A Kids' View Winter.
And the really good news is that this particular image is absolutely, totally FREE today. Yep, it's Freebie Friday and you can pop over to Bugaboo and get this adorable image for yourself. I'm entering this in the Incy Wincy Challenge which is Anything Goes.

The Flower-Filled Watering Cans

In between all the adorable kids, snowmen and bobbleheads at Bugaboo Stamps, you'll find a wide variety of flowery images, including this line of Watering Can flowers. I just love these images, they're just so sweet.
I used the sketch from Crazy4 Challenges .

Oldie But Goodie Day

Hooray for Thursday! In case you don't know, it's Oldie But Goodie Day at Bugaboo Stamps. Of course, none of the images that we use are actually OLD since Bugaboo has only been in existence for 11 months....but still, Jodie puts out a lot of new images every week and it IS possible that you may have missed one or two along the way so that's what OBG day is about, reminding you about some images that you may have missed. And since it's 50% all month at Bugaboo, why not add to that wishlist and head over to the store to get some new images to play with.
I chose another image from the Toppers collection. I've said before that I don't know why these are called Toppers, or what Toppers actually are or how they're used. I used it like any other image but if you know what the secret is, please let me in on it:
How cute is this guy? Adorable, I know. And yes, he is the same little boy I used in my card yesterday...but he's so cute, can you even blame me?? Go see what the rest of the Bugaboo DT chose for their OBG images today at the Catch the Bug Blog. I'm entering this in the Digital Tuesday Challenge which is to use a digi image and Frame something.

Winter Wonderland

It's hopeless. I can NOT get enough of these Bugaboo Snowmen. I love them and I never get tired of using them on my cards. What am I going to do when I don't need to make any more winter themed cards? :) I haven't been keeping up my Christmas Card tally since I gave a bunch to my friend, Chris. I guess I can count what I have left and restart the tally....nah...probably won't do that. Anyway, back to the snowman. Is there anything cuter than these Marshamallow Snowmen? I don't think so!

Ready for Some Cake

Do you have kids who play Call of Duty? If so, you know that next Tuesday is a BIG DAY...COD Black Ops comes out...woo hoo! Okay, that woo hoo was not for myself, in fact, it was a little sarcastic. :) My son wants the game and apparently, you have to pre-order/reserve it since the demand is so high for the game. Oh, and did I mention that there are different versions of Black Ops...the regular version, the hardened version and something else...maybe the premier version or something like that. Of course everyone and their brother (including my son) wants the hardened version. Guess what...not so easy to preorder one week prior to the release date. I did find it on Amazon and selected "release date delivery" so it seems like it's going to arrive at my house on the release day. I'll believe that when I see it. Kyle tells me he won't die if it doesn't get here on the day. Good to know. Anyway...moving on to cardmaking...
Doesn't this little guy look like he's just sitting there, ready for the cake to be served? I think so! He's from the Bugaboo "Toppers" collection. Remember that for the whole month of November, everything at Bugaboo is 50% off. How cool is that? That includes that awesome November digi set that you can see over on the left side bar. All those images for $10-you can't beat it.

It's New Release Day!

You know normally I'm pretty excited for Tuesdays to roll around because it's always fun to show you what Jodie's new releases are at Bugaboo. I'm extra excited today because it is election day. Why am I excited by election day? Because it means an end to these CRAZY political ads on tv and RIDICULOUS phone calls. Why is it that I can be on the "no call list" and not have businesses call me randomly but political campaigns can call whenever they want to and as much as they want to. GRRRRR. SO I'm very happy that it all ends today. :)
Back to the more exciting Bugaboo New, it's more Poppi the Penguin including this one:
Head over to Bugaboo and pick up the whole set since everything is 50% off for the whole month of November! Get those items that have been sitting on your wish list for so long!
I'm entering this in the City Crafter Challenge which is to use a digi.

Wow...November Already

Can you believe it's November already? Where did October go? It flew by for me, that's for sure. A couple of fun things happening in November: First, Bugaboo is having a DT call and everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply. Find the details on the Catch The Bug Blog. Second, Jodie is having a 50% off sale for the ENTIRE MONTH OF NOVEMBER! Yeah, I know, that's awesome. And have you noticed the November digi club images over on the left sidebar? How adorable are those? They, too, are included in the 50% off sale so you can get the whole set for $10! The November issue of the Bugaboo Newsletter came out today too. You can subscribe at the Catch The Bug Blog and get the monthly freebie and even more info and discounts on Bugaboo products. So, now that the news reporting is out of the way...on to showing you my cards for the day:

Back to the Wateringcan

Did you know that in addition to all kinds of adorable kids, super cute animals and sassy ladies, Jodie has a wide variety of floral images? One of my favorites is from the whole line of watering can flowers:

Remember that Bugaboo is having a 50% off sale for the whole month of November so head over there and pick up some of your favorites from your wish list!

Under the Wire

I made a lot of cards this weekend. I made a few and got ahead on my Bugaboo DT obligations and managed to squeeze in a few challenges too. Problem is, all the challenges seem to be Monday and Tuesday ones so I have to get them posted today!
I made this card with the sketch from Stampin Royalty and a Bugaboo image from the Stella Calendar line. This one is November:
