When Will the Snow Stop?

Okay, we woke up today to about two inches of snow. I know that's not a lot compared to what some of you have been getting but SERIOUSLY! Enough with the snow already. I love snow prior to Christmas. Anything after Christmas is just an annoyance. :)
Of course, the only GOOD thing about snow is snowmen and since it's snowy where I am, I'm allowed to show you another snowman card I made:
Sparkle Creations Christmas Card-light blue dark blue silver white christmas
City Crafter-no bows lace flowers or buttons
Crafty Hos-photo inspiration-snow ski
Digital Tuesday Challenge-punches and digi image (that dark blue strip on the left has been border punched and the digi image is from Bugaboo)
Papertake Weekly Challenge-sketch
Those of you who read my blog know that the City Crafter challenge was particularly CHALLENGING for me because I use buttons on just about everything. What can I say, I'm addicted. But, I did manage to make this card without any buttons. :)

Did you see the new Clyde collection at Bugaboo stamps? It's Jodie's first dragon collection and it's adorable. The set includes this super cute Clyde with his get well wishes:

Bugaboo Challenge Time!

It's time for another Bugaboo Challenge. This time the challenge is to use a different fold. I chose to make a tri-fold card which actually, could almost be used as a gift card holder. I got that idea when I was using this cocoa cup. I turned it into a coffee cup and got the idea to put a Starbuck's gift card inside and send it to a coffee loving friend.
Check out all the examples and the rest of the DT's examples at the Catch the Bug Blog. I hope you'll join in the can win 7, 4 or 2 images of your choice from the Bugaboo Store.

Cardmaker Crop

When I first got into cardmaking, I looked around the web and found a great group of ladies over at Cardmaker Cardswap. They were my first online friends and I've learned, and continue to learn, so much from all of them. I was fortunate to meet several of them in person last year at a craft show which was really fun. Several times a year we have an online "crop" over at Cardmaker and one is going on right now. Challenges, games and the chances to win prizes. I would encourage you to check it out.
Yesterday I was fortunate enough to play along with all three challenges and here is what I did:
For Terrie's all yellow challenge, I made this card:
I combined Terrie's challenge with the sketch from Card Patterns.
For Lora's recipe challenge, I made this card:
I used the sketch from Create 4 Fun.
And finally, for Ashley's sketch challenge, I made this:
I combined this challenge with Lexi's Creation challenge which is to use bears.

It's Freebie Friday

Hooray for Friday! This is going to be a great weekend. Today is my youngest son Brendan's 13th birthday. I can't believe it. Time really does go by so quickly. Anyway, he's busy tonight with friends so we're celebrating tomorrow after his football game. Guess what he wants to do...go bowling and eat at Taco Bell. Yes, he's THAT easy to please. :) It is going to be a junk food filled weekend since we're having Oreo Ice Cream cake for his birthday, tomorrow night DH and I are going to a trivia night with friends which always means food and then Sunday is the Super Bowl which, at our house, means a lot of junk food. Time to start the new diet on Monday!
Besides all the fun for the weekend coming up, today is still the awesome and spectacular FREEBIE FRIDAY at Bugaboo Stamps. Today Jodie is releasing her Wizard of Oz inspired images including this adorable lion:
Head over to the Bugaboo Store and pick him up for yourself. You can also see a super cute Tin Man there and at the Catch the Bug Blog.
