Hi and welcome to Tutorial Wednesday at Bugaboo Stamps and Catch the Bug. Today I'm going to show you something fun and easy to do with those paper scraps. You can make a really cute paper bow embellishment:

You will need:

Scrap paper
adhesive
sticky tape
Crop-a-dial or other hole puncher
a brad
Prima flower (optional)
Steps:1. Cut scrap paper into strips as follows:
1 inch wide and 6.5 inches long (4)
1 inch wide and 5.5 inches long (2)

2. Apply adhesive to one edge of the back side of each strip and form strips into circles

They should all look like this:

3. Apply a small piece of sticky tape to the inside center of each circle

4. Remove sticky tape cover and press top of circle down to adhere to sticky tape being careful not to crease the rounded edges

5. Stack up all of the pieces and punch a hole through the middle with your Crop-a-dile or other hole punch

6. Arrange your pieces in a bow pattern (you can see an extra hole here, you only need one but mine was off center so I had to make another one!)

7. Feed the brad through the flower and through the holes on all the bow pieces

8. Secure brad and rearrange pieces if needed. You're now ready to use your new bow as a fun embellishment

I hope you enjoyed learning how to make a paper bow. Now you have a way to use up all of those paper scraps!
