Cardmaker Crop

When I first got into cardmaking, I looked around the web and found a great group of ladies over at Cardmaker Cardswap. They were my first online friends and I've learned, and continue to learn, so much from all of them. I was fortunate to meet several of them in person last year at a craft show which was really fun. Several times a year we have an online "crop" over at Cardmaker and one is going on right now. Challenges, games and the chances to win prizes. I would encourage you to check it out.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to play along with all three challenges and here is what I did:

It's Freebie Friday

Hooray for Friday! This is going to be a great weekend. Today is my youngest son Brendan's 13th birthday. I can't believe it. Time really does go by so quickly. Anyway, he's busy tonight with friends so we're celebrating tomorrow after his football game. Guess what he wants to do...go bowling and eat at Taco Bell. Yes, he's THAT easy to please. :) It is going to be a junk food filled weekend since we're having Oreo Ice Cream cake for his birthday, tomorrow night DH and I are going to a trivia night with friends which always means food and then Sunday is the Super Bowl which, at our house, means a lot of junk food. Time to start the new diet on Monday!

Baby It's Cold Outside...

You know that song? My 14 year old daughter likes that song and just randomly sings it around the house. There is plenty of reason to sing it nowadays...it's about 3 degrees outside and with the windchill it feels like somewhere below zero. Not my kind of weather other than it gives me an excuse to show you my snowmen cards. :)
