Oh wait, I DO have Jesse bear. It's this super cute bear from Bugaboo. Isn't he sweet with his little ear poking out of his baseball cap? I love it!

Aged to Perfection

That's the name of this Stella image from Bugaboo Stamps and the sentiment that comes with it is "I'm not old, I'm aged to perfection".

Yummy Cupcake Tower

In real life, I'm not much of a fan of cupcakes so it's kind of funny that I love them so much for crafting. For most people, I think this tower of cupcakes would be pretty yummy. I just think it's fun to color. This is from the Bugaboo line A Kids View Birthday and it's called "Cupcake Tower".

Ahh...What a Birthday

I made this card with the Scarlette Bath image from Bugaboo and it just felt right to me to make it a Birthday card. My daughter saw it the other day and questioned why this would be a birthday card and I said because I thought this looked like a nice way to spend your birthday....at least part of it...relaxing in a soap sudsy bathtub!

Earlier this week at Bugaboo Stamps, Jodie released a set of Teddys. This is just one of them which is called Teddy Cupcake. Go over to Bugaboo and check out all the Teddy new releases. You're going to want them all! I had to get this one so I could enter it in the Crazy4Challenges challenge this week which is to feature CUPCAKES!

Oh That Stella!

Yep, here's another Stella image from Bugaboo stamps. This time Stella is celebrating a birthday. The sentiment that comes with this image is "What's One More Friggin' Candle" which I think is hilarious but I didn't think the sentiment fit the style of this card so I just stamped a generic "Happy Birthday".

Feeling A Little Rusty

It's been almost two weeks since I've made any cards or posted anything to my blog. I spent the week before vacation organzing my photos and papers to catch up on two years of scrapbooking for my kids. I worked on the scrapbooks all last week on vacation and am pretty happy with the results. I do need to go add some "somethings" to several pages and make sure I've got dates correct for certain events but for the most part, I feel like my scrapbooks are caught up (for now!) So...it's time to get back to cardmaking. It felt good to anticipate making cards yesterday. I summed up my challenges, printed a couple of images and looked forward to crafting. Until I got to my craft table and felt out of sorts and awkward! My mind was blank, I felt like my tools were all in the wrong places (they weren't), I couldn't remember what markers I liked to use for certain colors. UGH! Here's what I came up with, hopefully things will go better today:

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad's birthday. He's 70. It feels weird to say that because when you picture someone who is 70, you think it's an old man. If you met my dad, you would definitely NOT think "old man". He plays softball and golf, goes to all my kids' sporting events and does not seem to be slowing down in any way. Tonight, he and my mom are coming over for cake and tomorrow we're taking them both out to dinner because my mom had a monumental birthday earlier this year, she turned 65. So we thought it would be nice to all go out and celebrate.

I know, this is the third time you've seen this image on my blog in the last ten days or so. I just love this little guy from Designed to Delight. He makes a cute birthday card for any age!

I know, you hardly ever see super cute bear images on my blog so you're probably really surprised to see that I made a birthday card featuring a bear. Ha ha. This isn't just any bear though. Happy Birthday Kyle

Today is my oldest child's birthday. Kyle is 16 today. Do you know how long he's been waiting to turn 16??? He (and I!) thought this day would never get here. He's one of the youngest kids in his class and among his group of friends so he's been DYING, waiting while all of his friends turned sixteen (some almost a whole year ago!) and got their driver's licenses. Well, today's the day. We go at 8am to go try to get his license. He's excited, and a little nervous..though I don't think he'll admit that! **UPDATED! HE PASSED!!**
Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!! You might be bigger than me but you're still my little boy!
