Let the Sun Shine In
How's this for a bright and sunny card? That's the challenge this week at Kah Wink E Dink and this is their image too. Make any card featuring the sun and use yellow as well. I also used the colors from the Color Throwdown which were Barely Banana, Rich Razzleberry, Plum and Olive. You don't have to use those exact colors, just use what you have that is close. The sketch is from Lora at Cardmaker.

In Bloom
This week's Designed to Delight image is called "In Bloom"...perfect for those of us hoping for Spring to get here SOON! Remember, everyone gets a free image at the beginning of each month. If you make something with that image and post it to the blog, you get the next week's image free also. It goes on like that all month long. If you jump in in the middle of a month, you can purchase the weekly image, make something, and get the next week's free.

Treehouse Stamp Contest
Did you know that the Treehouse Stamp Company has a monthly contest for a guest DT spot? Yes, they do. You can pop over there and get this image. All you have to do is make something, email it to them, and you're in the running for a guest DT spot for April. So why not give it a try? Here's what I made with the image:

I just picked up this super cute flowery paper at Archiver's today. I thought it went pretty well with the image.

This cute little bear is from Hobby Paleis. You can get him here. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday and the theme from Rosie Dee's challenge: "think spring" and the challenge from Treehouse stamps: "clean and simple"

Be Cheered
This is my first time using word art. I found a lot of very cool word art at Create with TLC including this little sentiment that says "No one can be Uncheered with a Balloon" Isn't that SO true? I thought it went perfectly with this little image from Marjie's Malarkies.

I used the sketch from the Treehouse challenge and the Copic Colors from the Copic Colour Challenge which was to use Y21, B93 and BG15. I used the Y21 on her hair, the B93 on her dress and socks and the BG15 on the balloon.

Color Dare #58
WOW...it's hard to believe it's March. Time for the first Color Dare of the month and we are continuing the inspirational pictures that Riley started in February. I love seeing the colors in a picture and hope you do too. Today the colors are Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Tempting Turquois and Whisper White. As always, if you don't have these exact colors, use what you have that is close. Here is your inspirational picture:

Here is my card. The image is a freebie from Marjies Malarkies which you can get here.

I really hope you'll play along with these fun spring colors. Upload your creation by next Monday night to be in the running for the Top 3 and a guest DT spot!
I used the sketch from this week's Our Creative Corner challenge and it also fits these challenges:
One Stop Craft Challenge: Optimistically Pink
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Round and Round...use circles

Last of the Cardmaker Crop Challenges
There are a lot more challenges still going on at Cardmaker...you have a little more time to join in if you'd like so I encourage you to head over there and check it out. This will be my last submission for this crop. It was a lot of fun and we had lots of new participants which is always great. This challenge was from Georgette and the challenge was to use a butterfly on your card.

Attack Cat!
This adorable image is from Dawn Moore at Lost in Paper Scraps and yes, it's called Attack Cat though it looks waaay too cute to be scary. I used the Saturday sketch from 365 Cards (they're doing a whole week of sketches this week!) and the Color Challenge from Basic Grey: Maroon, Pink and Yellow. Plus you have to use a Basic Grey item and my paper is from BG.

Thinking of You
I recently found out that my Aunt Pat has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that they found it early, before it spread anywhere..not even to her lymph nodes. She just began a six week chemo program so I made her this card to let her know I'm thinking of her.

I used this week's CPS Sketch and some new paper I got at Archiver's on my "my computer is broken so I can't go to work day" :) Also, using the flower brad qualifies me for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which is to use something metallic.
This is one of many free Sara Kay images that you can find here.

Bugaboo Challenge
This week's Bugaboo Challenge is inspired by the Olympics. The challenge is to make a card of encouragement or something based on the Olympics...even featuring rings and circles. I went the encouragement route with this super cute Bugaboo image.

I used the sketch from Papertake Weekly and the challenge from Digital Tuesday Challenge which was to feature an animal. I colored the image with Copics: Y11,Y15,Y17 for the raincoat, B02,B00 and B05 for the umbrella, R45,24 and 27 for the boots and E43 for the bear and E57 for the umbrella handle. The puddle and water drops are also B00.
