Designed To Delight

Flower Power

Lots of challenges out there challenging us to use flowers. That's generally not a problem for me! Here's a card I made with a free image from Clear Dollar Stamps. You can get it here. You don't have to use this image for the Clearly I Stamp challenge, you just have to use flowers somehow.

Mrs. Claus

This "Mrs. Claus" image from the DigiShack is one of the first digi images I ever received. I think I won it but it's been so long that I'm not even sure any more. I've never used it before but it's the first image that came to mind when I saw this week's Bah Humbug challenge which is "Christmas food". If you were reading this blog last fall/winter, you know that I LOVE to make Christmas cards in non-traditional colors so I used the colors from this week's Color Throwdown which were Rose Red, Tempting Turquois and Kiwi Kiss.

A Little Late on the Little Paper Shop

Okay, I've been slacking and finding myself too late for challenges, forgetting to take pictures of my cards...sheesh...I think I'm ready for summer. Actually, I have no excuse. It's not like I've been any busier than usual lately...I'm just slacking! So, I made this card over the weekend with this adorable image from Meljens. Didn't post it right away and WHOOPS I'm late for the Little Paper Shop sketch challenge from last Monday. I used the colors from this week's Colour Create challenge.

Today is Wednesday which means it's freebie day at StretchNBubbles. Today the freebie is an adorable little bed bug...perfect for those "get well soon" cards. Let the Good Times Roll....

When I saw this image by Dustin Pike, I just had to get it. One of his DT members made a card with this image that said "Sorry I missed your Birthday....I'm a little behind". I thought that was hilarious and I think this image is super cute. I made this card using the sketch from Sketch Saturday and the theme from Pals Paper Arts (which was to use monochromatic blues) and Kah Wink E Dink (also to use blue).

CHARMED, I'm Sure

First of all, good news...Katie cleaned up her DISASTER of a room on Saturday so I was able to paint it the colors she wanted, lime green on the bottom 1/3 of the walls and a bright blue on the top. Today or tomorrow I'll be cutting out some circle stencils so we can put lime green polka dots on the blue parts of her wall. So now, the journal I made for her the other day is a perfect match to her room!
On to today's card. This is the latest image from Designed to Delight and it's called "Charmed". Have you thought about playing along with D2D?
