Christmas in May

Today I'm playing along with the sketch challenge at Cardmaker that is brought to us this week by the super talented JANE! You may be wondering why I chose to make a Christmas card in the middle of May...well, the answer is because I won these two awesome images from the Stamping Boutique earlier in the week and I couldn't wait to use them!
I used the colors from this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge which were turquois, olive and red.

I'm loving the Catch the Bug Challenge from Bugaboo this week. It's Flower Power...use flowers, flower paper, flower image..anything having to do with flowers so I've been busy joining in their challenge this week. I used this awesome Bugaboo image called Scarlette...isn't she great?

As usual, I colored him with Copics and thanks to my friend Deanne, I found the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and it was a fun one. I really like the layout of this card so THANKS Deanne! I also made this card with ALL scraps from my scrap folder. Even the flower brad is old. The last one in a pack I used to make cards for a swap several months ago. Worked well here so I used it...FINALLY!

A Sweet Birthday Wish

Have you met Audrey? She's this sweet little girl from the Stamping Boutique. Here she is with a piece of cake to wish you a Happy Birthday!

I colored her with Copics and glittered up all the sparkles around her and the ruffles on her clothes. I also used some of my favorite cupcake paper. I think it might be the last little bit I had so I will need to restock that!

StretchNBubbles Sketch Challenge #6 and Freebie

A lot happens on Wednesdays at StretchNBubbles. First, there is always a freebie to be had just by visiting the site. And second, for the sixth week now, it is time for a new sketch challenge at the SNB Sketch Challenge blog. Have you given the sketches a try yet? More Flowers

I know, it's been flower overload here this past week. I can't help it...I love flowers and it so easy to use them on cards...images, embellishments, papers...they're everywhere. Here's my latest addition to my flower themed stamps and it's from the digi stamp boutique. Just a simple vase with flowers but it's SO pretty.

Wow...I feel like I've been making a lot of boyish cards lately. I don't know, I think there have been several challenges to make boyish cards so I must have all of what....three or four now. :) Well, here's one more to add to the stash!
