Challenge Time!

Time for another Bugaboo/Catch the Bug Challenge. Did you play along in last week's Graduation challenge? I hope so and I hope you're ready for today's challenge which is to make a card with BRIGHT colors and Flower Soft. That's right, this week the Bugaboo team got to use this great product on our projects. It can be used for so much more than just flowers so don't let the name limit you. If you DO use Flower Soft on your project, you can win even more prizes!

Sorry for the blurry picture. I changed the settings on my camera to take graduation pics last weekend and I thought I put them back to where they were but I could NOT get this picture to not be blurry. Deacon Takes a Break

Don't you just love the Ava and Deacon line of images from Bugaboo Stamps? I know I do and if you read this blog much at all you know I do too! Today, I took Deacon and put him with one of Jodie's accessories images, this bench. You can use these accessories for so many Bugaboo images and all of a sudden you have a brand new image. Don't you just LOVE digital stamps for that reason?? I know I do.

Challenge Time

Are you ready for another Bugaboo Challenge? We have a challenge today that is totally appropriate for this time of year. The theme is : Celebrations or Graduations. I chose the Graduation theme because my daughter graduates 8th grade today. She is so excited and is really looking forward to high school. This has been a fun week of "last times", you know...this is the last Tuesday you'll drop me off here, this is the last time I'm buying lunch, etc. It's exciting and a little bit sad at the same time. I'm hoping to make it through the ceremony without getting TOO teary eyed. Not that I'm going to miss the school, my son still has one year to go, but more because of the sentimentality of the fact that this era of my daughter's life is over...time just passes too quickly and that makes me a bit emotional! :) ANYWAY...on to my card:

Isn't this a cute owl Jodie created in a graduation theme? I had to put some pink in my card or Katie would be disappointed. :)

Golf Anyone?

Have you seen the A Kids' View line of images from Bugaboo? If not, you should go check them out. There are so many to choose from and one is cuter than the next. Today, Jodie is giving away this image for free, AKV Golf:

I used a "celebrate" stamp because I'm thinking of using this card as a Father's Day card for my dad. He loves golf though I don't think he dresses like this when he plays!

Nice Catch!

It's been a long time since I've been able to show you a New Release or a Freebie Friday image from Jodie. Most of the Bugaboo cards I've shown you over the last two months were ones I worked on way in advance and thank goodness I did because my bout of dizziness lasted over two months and is now at the point where I can focus and craft on a regular basis and let me tell you, I've missed it.
